Kalli + Kyle | Stony Creek Metropark
This beautiful fall engagement session at Stony Creek Metropark with Kalli and Kyle was the ideal fall engagement session! You can’t go wrong when you do photos at Stony Creek! After the sessions I’ve had there this past year, it has officially made it on the list of my top favorite locations! There are a lot of different-looking areas in this park that are located within walking distance which is great for staying within the time frame and also for creating variety throughout all of the photos! It’s just such a beautiful park!
It’s always a really great time when you get the chance to photograph friends! Kyle and I went to the same University and also worked together as Resident Assistants in our campus housing! Photographing friends is always extra special and I was so thrilled when Kalli and Kyle reached out to me to be their wedding photographer!
Kyle proposed to Kalli at Sleeping Bear Dunes during a visit disguised as a trip to the dunes to get photos together with their group of friends. One of their friend’s mom scrapbooks and wanted some photos for it (or so Kalli thought!!). The group ended up at a beautiful sand point over lake Michigan where you could see the shoreline for miles. When they got there everyone started taking photos and Kalli turned around and saw Kyle on one knee! That’s definitely a scrapbook moment!
These two killed it during their engagement session and were just so much fun to photograph! By the end, they were complete pros! I’m so beyond excited for Kalli and Kyle’s wedding this August! Their photos are going to be amazing and I know the whole day is going to be so much fun! It will be here before we know it and I’m currently counting down the days!
