Caitlyn + Kyle | Fox Hills Summer Wedding

Caitlyn and Kyle’s lovely Fox Hills Summer wedding was a beautiful but slightly windy day! Michigan weather is always unpredictable, and we experienced some crazy wind and a bit of rain during the day. However, the rain held off for the slightly more important parts of the day (ceremony and photos) – so I’d take that as a WIN!
One of Fox Hills's highlights is its picturesque course grounds. The lush greenery provided the perfect setting for wedding portraits. It’s so nice when venues have everything in one place for the entire day, so you can put what would be travel time back into your photo timeline or have more time with your guests!
Near the end of the evening, the sun was setting perfectly, and we had a quick window of time for perfect sunset portraits. I grabbed Caitlyn and Kyle really quick, and we made our way out to the open field next to the Summerhouse Pavilion. I always encourage couples to take the time to step away for sunset photos because the short time away from your reception is so worth the photos you’ll get during this time! I absolutely love their sunset photos. The glow was unreal!
Caitlyn and Kyle, thank you for allowing me to capture your engagement photos and wedding details! It was so great getting to know both of you, and I hope it brings you joy to look back on your photos and relive the memories!
