Abby + Lucas | The Eastern, Detroit
Abby and Lucas were married on a beautiful spring day at The Eastern in Detroit! It was a super sweet and joyous day celebrating their love with all their closest friends and family.
There were so many great moments throughout the day, but one of my favorite moments was the first dances with the bride and her dad and the groom with his mom. These dances are always so special and I always get teary-eyed while photographing them!
This wedding definitely set the record for the biggest wedding party that I’ve photographed! Add up the bride and groom, 11 groomsmen, 9 bridesmaids, and one flower girl to bring the total to 23 people! Larger wedding parties are definitely a challenge, but I have to say this wedding party was one of the best groups I’ve had! They were super fun and cooperative, and were totally down for running around Eastern Market to get all the group photos.
It was an absolute joy to photograph Abby and Lucas’s wedding day! I’m so happy for you both and I wish you the very best! I hope marriage has been a blast so far!
