Sam + Patrick | Downtown Brighton, Michigan
This engagement session was so exciting for many reasons! 1. Sam is a fellow Delta Phi Epsilon sorority sister from my alma mater! 2. This was my first engagement session of the year and the first engagement session for my group of 2022 brides. 3. For me it marked the return to normalcy and getting back into the wedding and engagement groove!
Sam and Patrick met through a mutual friend 7 years ago! Due to COVID, Patrick’s engagement plans changed a couple times but after they closed on their house and were settled in, he popped the question in their backyard! So naturally, they chose to do their engagement pics at their beautiful home! This was so so special and their home and yard is absolutely gorgeous so it was the perfect location! We also took some photos around Downtown Brighton as well when it was closer to sunset. I really appreciate when couples choose locations that mean something to them. That always helps make the session extra special and unique.
These two were such a joy to photograph and I’m really looking forward to their wedding next spring!
