Anne + Kevin | Belle Isle, Detroit
Belle Isle was so busy this day and so many people were there hanging out and enjoying the amazing weather but that didn’t stop this gorgeous engagement session!
We started the session at the James Scott Memorial fountain and then ended the session at the casino building. I really love shooting at Belle Isle because it has so many different types of areas for photos that adds a lot of variety to a session! Another great thing about this session was the LIGHT! We had such amazing light this evening and these photos are proof of why making sure to schedule your session during the golden hour is a MUST!
Being photographed with so many people around can definitely be intimidating, but Anne & Kevin rocked it! They were so amazing to work with and it was so fun hanging out with them! These two are just so cute together and super natural in front of the camera! They made my job super easy!! Also, Anne was super smart and scheduled getting her test bouquet from her florist the same day as the session. So not only did I get to see what her flowers will look like beforehand and, but we also got to use them in the session! A funny thing about having the bouquet during the engagement session and also shooting in a super populated area is that a ton of people thought they were getting married that day! Haha. They got lots of Congratulations as we walked around. It was so funny!
Anne & Kevin will be getting married in April 2020. It’s going to be so amazing and I’m already counting down the days, although, I know time is going to fly by and their wedding day will be here before we know it!
